Runner

The Runner is the person on set who helps out whenever they are needed.

In general they will do what the Assistant Directors will request. But other departments may need their assistance.

The Runner may need to leave the set to pick up something that is needed: whether that be something from the supermarket or meeting the talent when they arrive.

Runners need to be communicative and trustworthy, and ready and willing to help out.
