The LX Tech (Lighting Technician) is the second-in-charge to the Gaffer.
They support the Gaffer. Their role involves electricity and often heavy equipment, so health and safety is very important.
In an AOTS project, we often have Camera and Lighting Assistants, who support the DP to light the scene.
